This colourway came out a few years ago. The Air BW is one of the most popular Air Max runners, especially with the mesh toe and plush satin-esque ankle and tongue fabric. They fit snug and have a slightly pointier toebox than other Maxxys like the AM90. I sold this pair before wearing it. I often do this cos I have (had) a sneaker buying addiction, so often I would buy a pair of shoes in my size because I couldn't fight the urge, knowing that I could sell it later if I changed my mind.
Whether you love sneakers or not, you have to admit - this is a fresh looking pair of shoes. It may or may not be a proven fact that attractive women become physically aroused by a cool guy wearing pink. And not just any pink, but the hotter the pink the better. In fact there is a direct correlation between the brightness of the pink and the wetness of the vagina.
I live in Melbourne which unfortunately is an uber-trendy city, and people ain't got much love for sneakers. You will find that Melbournians are more into other stuff, I don't really know what they wear but it ain't that fresh. They seem to be grey. People always look grey and drab in Melbourne. Having said that, this is the kind of shoe that will make even the most pretentious, uber-limp, quasi-neo-capitalist corporate sissy hipster-douchebag recognise and pay respect.
Once upon a time if you missed a release you were right to be a bit bummed because you may have to wait years for another release, but times have changed and these days you can bank on the classic colourways getting re-dropped within a year or two, and the classic make-ups (model/material selection) such as these get pumped out at a steady rate throughout the year. So if you love this shoe you may not be able to get the exact colour but you can count on a new colourway with the same classic material placement coming out real soon. There's different opinions on this marketing strategy by Nike. Most collector's or fans swear with flames in their eyes and venom on their lips that Nike is betraying them by devaluing their hard-copped pairs. These savage cats vow never to buy another pair of Nike and switch to buying Reeboks in future, only to be claiming "firsties" on the latest update post for the next hot release and promising to cop at least 3 pairs. Personally I think Nike will eventually self-destruct but I know they wanna get they scrill-on while they can, so more power to the man I guess. Evil mega-coporations gotta eat too, right?
